Crystal Mountain, EGYPT, 3/26/2010
The Crystal Mountain is not really a mountain, rather a rock or ridge. But "crystal" is a correct description. This ridge is entirely composed of quartz crystal and has a human-high natural arch through the middle, which is why locals call it Hagar al-Makhrum, the "Rock with a Hole".
